Power Settings
by: Chris | JumpstartMyPC

You might want to check into the Power Settings options that Windows has to offer. You can change your settings to a "Power Saver" mode and it might help with the overheating. Unfortunately, you will also sacrifice some speed, but at least you won't have to visit the hospital burn center every time you use your new laptop.
